Meet Charlie, a homeless dog found wandering on the side of a street in Los Angeles. He was taken to an overcrowded, high-kill shelter, meaning if he wasn’t adopted within two weeks, he would have been put down.

There are thousands of dogs just like Charlie who need help, but what this shelter did to Charlie is damn shocking.
