We’ve already seen that our standard of what a perfect face looks like depends on the country we are from. The British online pharmacy Superdrug Online Doctors asked designers from 18 countries of different culture to take a photo of a woman and photoshop it to their culture’s beauty standard. The project “Perceptions of Perfection” had surprising results.
The most focused area for all of the countries where the woman’s waist was made smaller and her breasts larger. The result from China and Italy had the most drastic and unrecognizable change.
