Taking into account this fund, it will cost $25 billion in total and become the third biggest tech company in the USA, falling behind Airbnb and Uber. SpaceX is attracting investors’ money like a magnet. Naturally, after the successful launch of the super-heavy Falcon family rocket, the team will achieve even more success. And it is all because of the ability to combine science, modern technology and desire to make money. This year Musk wants to make thirty launches in space. According to PitchBook data, in November 2017 the cost of SpaceX was estimated at 21 billion. In 2017, the rockets of SpaceX were sent into space 18 times.

SpaceX was founded by Elon Musk in 2002. Among its developments, there is technology for returning orbital rocket Falcon 9 to Earth for reuse. As the company believes, this makes launches much cheaper. For the first time, the experiment on the return of the first stage was held on September 29, 2013. The stage was planned to slide down and gulp down into the ocean, but because of the strong rotation, it fell onto the water and crashed. The first successful landing took place on December 22, 2015, and on the sea platform – on April 8, 2016.
